I love giving life to old garments we can find lost in our closets. I deconstructed a trench coat and created a dress out of it. No additional fabric or materials were used. I only added button holes to the garment.
I created this sweater with the lace apliqueé technique of cutting and placing pieces of the in house designed lace. This was created while working under the direction of Heather McDonald - knitwear designer for the brand Jonathan Simkhai
Gustav Klimt's "The Kiss" was my inspiration for this eveningwear collection
Zeitgeist is a collection inspired in Andy Warhol's factory.
I created a multi functional garment with 2 way closed zippers. This garment can be used as a skirt, as different types of dress, as a top, or as a two-piece
World famous Japanese couture designer Shingo Sato shows his TR technique, very much different from the conventional pattern making representing the 3-D fashion creations. In this project, I created a skirt with cylinder pockets that could be used inside or out.
I created a blooming heart, inspired in a moment in which i felt the world desperately needed more love. I then designed a black velvet jacket to match, into which I embroidered my illustration.
These are flats created for a swimwear collection. I like to use the body figure for swimwear so the fitting is shown more accurately to then be manufactured with less mistakes. The cover ups were made with no body figure.
I try to find every opportunity to integrate fashion and art. Designs I have created were later used both for lace and embroidery for top designers like Jonathan Simkhai.
